What are the best aspects of this product?

Chartio is easy to use with a clean user interface and all the features we need without any needless bells and whistles. It supports a wide range of data sources that cover all the popular and advanced data warehouse systems. It is easy to blend data from different sources by merging different layers together.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There are a couple of areas where Chartio can improve. There can be more transparent usage of each created dashboard and account. The vendor charges by seat but there is no info on how frequently each seat is used. This means the administrator is not able optimize usage in the company. Second, there could be better data caching and query in sequence. Some dashboards have multiple charts. When people visit these dashboards, a large amount of queries are initiated to the database simultaneously.

We use Chartio to generate dashboard/report and share it within the company.
