What are the best aspects of this product?

Chartio has vastly improved over the past one year that we have been using it. The vendor seems to heed to customer feedback and do improvements as required. You can use the drag-and-drop to easily transform simple queries into live-updating graphs. For complex queries and for cases where the data is not well organized, you can use custom SQL queries across multiple tables.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There are two areas where I would like to see improvements, which would benefit me: There could be better sharing, there is no need for a user account simply to see a dashboard. Second, we should be able to configure the appearance more easily, for example, changing fonts, axes, etc.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We use Chartio to share information with employees in the company, by emailing exports to important stakeholders, displaying real-time charts on office screens, and allowing key users in the product management and development teams to use the data directly.
