What are the best aspects of this product?
Chatter is so easy to utilize. It's great for those who are alrady accustomed to Facebook and/or Twitter. Group and individual collaborations is a cinch. Information can easily be shared and answers can be acquired by posting them when needed.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Its integration is embedded within Salesforce that it's no longer possible for it to be switched off when the functionality is no longer required. Security could use some improvement. There's now a possibility for anyone to look into posts without having to access a certain set of data.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Acquiring sales and support teams in determing issues and/or enhancing customer response was a major problem. Thanks to Chatter, answers have come around a lot quicker. It's an awesome tool in offering updates to those within the group that wants to perform certain things, where to seek out info, and etc... This was helpful in instances where we looked into certain SME/information and someone was around to quickly respond.
