What are the best aspects of this product?
I think that there is no need to hire a billing specialist to help you manage your invoices because you can train all of your employees to use Clio and do it themselves. I encourage my lawyers to be mindful of their billable hours by tracking them consistently through Clio. That way, they also have accountability when it comes to collecting payments and giving discounts to your clients. Lastly, there is no need to worry about making mistakes because Clio is designed in such a way that it makes it easy to rectify records.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Setting up the entire platform is a bit of a tricky task for me. I had to call tech support to seek guidance on the next steps that I should take. I made some mistakes, but I could get over them after learning my lesson the hard way.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
I believe that Clio is designed to help law firms save money in the long run. It specializes in creating a list of tasks that runs in one specific software only. I find Clio very convenient for my practice because it gets the job done. Also, I never had any significant issues dealing with our billable hours and collecting outstanding balances.
