What are the best aspects of this product?
The first few months of using Clover was a struggle. The cash register system was so basic it didn't allow deductions of discounts or promos. But now, after a series of updates, it has surprisingly eclipsed its competitors such as Square and even Prism. Accessing reports as old as years back is possible with Clover. And navigating the software is very easy.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It does not automatically recognize credit cards. So we need to ask our customers to input them and that might be the cause for them to get worried about security breaches. Also, Clover always prints order receipts after official receipts, which is not always necessary. The accumulation of these unneeded receipts costs our resto $75 a month.
