What are the best aspects of this product?
It has become a reliable solution in terms of tracking and creating expense reports. You can do this for your travel plan as it helps you to create and submit expense reports. It is easy to do this once you get started. There is an expense delegate feature, which allows you to add other users such that, they can submit the expense reports on your behalf. It is both web and mobile compatible which adds to the efficiency. For the learning curve, there are videos to help you understand how this tool works and thus easy to get started. I am able to track all the individual expenses I incur during my entire travel. For example, I can record or create a report for the meals I have taken and be assured that they are recorded in the product as expenses.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It can be difficult to go back once you have submitted the report. I tried to edit the report once I found out that I had made a mistake but it was impossible. This was a frustrating experience as there was no way to edit that expense report. What was left to do is to cancel that report and go back start over and submit a new and correct report. It was an issue that I did not like about the tool. It would be good if there was a way to correct the incorrect entries you have made in the report once you submit it. This would save time and eliminate the need to create a new one.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
My expenses and reports are now streamlined. I can capture the data on the receipt and use this tool to create those reports and submit them with ease. It can be difficult trying to keep track of how much you have spent while traveling. This is especially the case where the receipts are involved. Submission of such receipts manually can be too much work and Concur has come in to help me solve such problems. I am able to do this without having to submit manually I can even have someone else in my expense delegate do this for me if I am not around. This means I have everything under control as far as the expense reports and submission is concerned.
