PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

We were able to deploy ConnectWise Control hundreds of our clients' workstations or servers. This allowed us to access them any time. Connection are decent for the most part. Transferring files is a cinch. Its toolbox functionality is by far the best of the bunch.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There have been instances where the connection would be successfully made. At times, I'm stuck staring at a black screen. Cursors are missing. What's weird is that the end-user can actually see the mouse moving around. It won't matter if the connection was made through a browser. It's a bug that I haven't come across regularly.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We were getting rid of the Remote Desktop for accessibility to servers. This is because we're seeing a rise in dictionary hack attemps made on our RDP ports. Some succeeded making it in. But when ConnectWise Control came to play, we were able to seal off the RDP ports and utilizing such access for remote connections.
