What are the best aspects of this product?

Being in the engineering industry, and this tool being of the AEC industry, we are home. It not only saves time but makes our work easier. When it comes to collecting data, this system is able to capture that data quickly and store it in the database. We are thus able to analyze it and make decisions based on that data collected. With Cosential software, we do not have to worry about data collection and analysis and thus we can concentrate on our core skills.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

You can expect to have a hard time as a beginner with any kind of application. As we were not used to this system at first, it was difficult to find our way around. It took us a while but at the end we were able to hack it. There is very little to dislike about this tool. It is exceptional and offers exceptional database management solutions for my business. It has a reliable report module where you can generate reports for the data you have collected and make an accurate decision on the same. However, just like the tool itself, understanding how to create or come up with those reports can be an uphill task. It has a learning curve and thus takes time to get used to.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We can now do everything from the same platform. Previously, it was all over as we did not have such a system to merge all our operations and manage data from one location. We used to get the project information from our project managers after they had completed the projects at hand and incorporate it where it needed to be. With Cosential, those days are long gone as it has a reliable database where such information is synchronized as soon as the project is completed and thus no need to collect it from project managers. This way, you will be able to go back and pull out any project data you want when need arises in real time and with ease.
