What are the best aspects of this product?

It is an all-round CRM tool that helps you complete different functions in terms of database management. It has a reporting functionality where you can analyze data and generate reports to understand that data well. Also, it has a publisher feature which equips you with the right tools to create resumes and data sheets for your projects. In terms of integration, it integrates well with multiple databases to help streamline the collection of raw data for storage and analysis. Once we decided to work with Cosential, Diana Lovelace and Christina Leahy became our account managers and we are more than grateful to them as they have become our guide in implementing this tool in every step of the way.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

We are having different problems with this tool that need addressing. When it comes to responding to FDC, Cosential is not as responsive as it should be. It would better if the developers of the tool made this efficient as it can lead to unnecessary inconveniences. Also, the customization of the reporting fields is not as much as we would want them to be. We should be able to determine how we want those fields to appear depending on our business needs or preference. Another problem is that the fields can be overwhelmingly many which can be confusing especially if it is your first time to use this product. This means that, if you have multiple project tabs open, you can edit the wrong one which can lead to chaos on your end. Luckily, as the admin, you can minimize only to those project fields you are using.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

There is much that Cosential has brought to the table on our side. We have solved the problems of data inaccuracy, efficiency and collection when undertaking projects. These were not possible before we implemented this tool in our operations. Apart from that, it has helped us in completing projects in time and also assisting with new hires. This is possible due to the timely generation of project sheets and resumes with reliable information concerning whether the project is viable or not. Decision making has become relevant and accurate as we can analyze raw data and see if we are taking the right step for our business. Since we can generate reports from the system with ease, the workflow out has improved.
