What are the best aspects of this product?
Procuring of company supplies doesn't have to be as complicated as before. What I like about Coupa is that it's structured similarly to an online shopping site, thus making it easier for employees to shop for what they need. It gives you a detailed comparison of your purchases on behalf of the company to have better visibility and control of its expenditures.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
I realized that not all features are created to be user friendly. Some suppliers told me that they're having challenges in terms of submitting proposals or quotations through the platform. So what they do instead is send it through email or fax. I'm hoping that Coupa could simplify this particular process. I want all procurement transactions to be done through the platform because everything should be organized and systematic.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Before Coupa, most of our departments don't have a definite structure or workflow, and that's very challenging on my end. When this platform was introduced to all employees things started to improve in the office. The procurement of supplies has never been this easy and transparent. I like that Coupa allows me to have control over our company's expenditures by giving detailed online reports.
