What are the best aspects of this product?
Very nice and beautiful GUI, looks very nice and user friendly.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Connections to Patterson took about a week to resolve, the information does not flow properly from Patterson to Dental Intel, despite Dental Intel doing the configuration and telling me that it should work properly. The numbers (production, collections) round up and don't give an exact amount. The scheduling numbers are incorrect, which I specifically told our Rep about.
They make you sign a 12 month contract. The cost of the product is nearly $500 / month, plus a 1 time $500 "activation / setup" fee. We started using the product, found little ROI and didn't end up using it. We asked our Rep how to cancel and were told that because we signed a 12 month contract (thinking this product was worth it), we can't get out of the contract and would have to pay the full amount. I spoke to 3 people, none of them were willing to see that we aren't using the product, it's not helping us at all, and we are just losing money (basically supporting Dental Intel for no return). There is no exchange, but they were adamant about "no way to change this, can't cancel without paying" and basically telling me to either use the product or just pay them the nearly $500 a month for not using the product.
It makes absolutely no sense. If you actually thought your product was worth it, why force a 12 month contract? Why, when you can obviously see it's not being used by us, continue to force that the contract has to be followed. You have to receive the money from us for nothing? Makes zero sense.
