Cloud storage with impressive functionality

What are the best aspects of this product?

It does everything extremely well. It's blazing fast. Our office files are now housed within the Egnyte's cloud server and can accessed from our Japan-based office. Reall fast upload and download speeds. We've using this system for several months now and we almost had zero issues with it.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Nothing much really. The biggest quip I've had with it was its pricing. Egnyte can be costly and isn't as reasonable for a product. Its pricing is entirely based on users as oppossed to accessibility. A typical user who uses the system weekly from a shared computer would already be classified asd a "user" and unfairly charged on the same rate as that of a full-time user.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We were already utilizing cloud-based apps before landing on Egnyte. Egynte was the last puzzle piece we were looking for as it eradicated the use of managed networks and locally-based file servers. Now, all of our PCs are making use of cloud-based apps and have treated Egnyte for storing files. It didn't negatively impact our operations. Its added advantage was that all files are now made available remotely.
