What are the best aspects of this product?
There are so many things that I love about Eventbrite, I honestly don’t know where to begin with this review! For one, I love how the consideration that it gives non-profit events. It’s pretty accessible just about anywhere—even on mobile! I can set-up other people as sellers too. I don’t have to be the only one to man our virtual ticket booth because there will be other uses who can also set up their own accounts. And finally, I love how there is no need to print out tickets anymore. Going paperless has never been easier!
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
I can only think of two things that I don’t like about this platform. First, I can’t configure it according to my preferences when selling one-day passes for a multi-day event. If I wanted to offer single-day passes to one day of an event, I’d have to offer this option on other days too. I don’t like how this platform takes a very high cut when used as a POS for event merchandise too.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Through Eventbrite we’ve been able to get more profit from our sales. Conversing and answering questions of attendees and prospects are a lot easier here too. And finally, it has given us useful insight into the purchasing behaviors of our consumers.
