What are the best aspects of this product?
I do not have to keep all my business cards in their hard copy. It can be difficult to keep track of your business cards, if you want to use them in years to come. Luckily, I can use Evernote to capture the image of my cards and store it in the system. This way, even when I lose that card, I will be able to retrieve it on Evernote without much hustle. It makes my work easier as I can connect with LinkedIn from the same platform. After uploading the photo of the card on Evernote, can add unique notes on it and be able to view them later in the years.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It can be frustrating when you want to transfer some information from the product to another system. Evernote makes it difficult for you as it does not integrate well with other tools. For example, it is not possible to take the contact list from Evernote and copy or transfer it to my CRM. This means that I have to manually copy the list and transfer it to the CRM system which can be a lot of work. Since most of my business cards are hard copy, I end up duplicating the list into my CRM. However, this can be counteracted by the use of the electronic business cards which make the work of transferring contacts to the CRM system easy.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
I no longer have to put business cards in a box or on the table somewhere. Evernote has made it possible for me to keep my contact list save and easily accessible. Whenever I want to find a contact about someone, I just turn to Evernote and there it is. I do not have to search through a huge pile of cards looking for contact anymore. It has made my work simple and effortless. Whenever I meet someone and they give me a business card, all I have to do is take a photo of the card using my phone, scan the details and synchronize it on my Evernote. From there, I can lose the card and still maintain the contact details of the card.
