Exponea acts as a central hub for our marketing activities.
We are able to segment the customer database in real-time.
We now create sophisticated funnels on a wide variety of events.
We can act upon on any event attribute or customer variable with a campaign through SMS, mobile notification or website.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Better documentation on how to achieve specific type of reports.
What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?
After seeing the roadmap I can't say there is something that isn't already worked on.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
There are 3 key areas where Exponea delivers
1. Marketing automation
We are now able to perform campaigns that would've taken the dev. team over 2 weeks of development. Things like "The user has abandoned a shopping cart with over 50% than the avg. order value -> Connect it to the customer support if she doesn't buy"
2. Analytics
Every event sent to Exponea is accessible in real-time and quickly displayed on our dashboards. Example "Conversion rates for products that we are currently advertising on TV campaigns"
We are also able to parse million of customer profiles and score them in real-time using RFM models. This would've taken complex SQL queries to the data warehouse.
3. Commercial/Buying team
The buying team now has access in real-time to products that receive page views but are currently out-of-stock. This way they could much quickly connect with our suppliers and urge them to ship new items.
