What are the best aspects of this product?

I love the granularity which allows me to easily categorize bugs and other issues. This feature offers limitless possibilities, but you need to be careful because creating complex granularity for your projects can make it hard to use the app.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The vendor doesn’t do enough to help users and administrators to maintain the usability of the issue tracking software. This is not a problem if your QA and developer teams are small. But if you run multiple products and releases simultaneously on FogBugz, you need experienced administrators to use the issue tracking system effectively.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I used FogBugz to work on multiple versions of a big web publishing solution. We used the app to manage both the commercial and open sources versions of the software as well as web-based documentation and some extra bits of utility apps.
