Ideal billing software to boost cash flow

What are the best aspects of this product?

I love that FreshBooks manages invoice follow up easily. I use it to create and send out bills, it accepts online payments and automatically reminds clients about overdue invoices. It is an ideal app that service-based companies can use to keep their cash flowing.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

FreshBooks cannot be used for complete double-entry bookkeeping. It can be used only to track income and expenses. You cannot use it to track Balance Sheet things, manage deposits other than from invoice payments, or to reconcile bank accounts. Another disadvantage is there is no integration with QuickBooks Online.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I use FreshBooks to track my billable expenses. I can attach receipt pics easily. I can also track time against projects which gives me an idea of the expected revenue from a project versus the amount of work involved. My clients can pay my bill easily which means I can get faster payments.
