What is FullContact?

FullContact is a contact management software designed for individuals and teams. It has the capability to collect contact data and information of companies, enterprises, and professionals; and organizes them into a centralized location.

Described as an online contact management solution for marketing teams and salespersons, FullContact pulls contact information from social networks, photos, blogs, and public data. This enables them to build social profiles of their customers and leads, and the software ensures that the contact information they have are consistently updated.

FullContact also helps users find and add new contacts. It checks their email inbox, removing invalid and harmful email addresses. The software ensures that the number of returned emails is reduced, and the deliverability of emails is enhanced. Furthermore, it creates new online contacts from business cards. Full Contact allows users to add tags and notes to their contacts as they organize them.

Overview of FullContact Benefits

The capability of FullContact to provide and build social profiles of contacts is a remarkable functionality. This allows users to obtain complete contact information, enriching their contacts and address book. When they have full social profiles of their customers, leads, and prospects; they will be able to connect with them for business and marketing purposes.

FullContact enables users to make queries through its Person or Company API. Person API and Company API are the tools and methods used by FullContact to look up contacts. In the Person API method, users send contact information to FullContact; such as an email address, Twitter handle (a contact’s Twitter username and the accompanying URL), or phone number. Then, FullContact returns more information about  the contact: name, job, location, demographics, social profiles, affinities.

If users want to obtain more information about a company, they can use the Company API method. Here, users send the email address or the name of the company. As a result, FullContact provides them information; such as the company ‘s website, number of its employees, date when it was founded, its social profiles, and an overview of the company. 

FullContact also allows users to tune up their queries as they send contact information for FullContact to look up. They can tune up their queries by  adding multiple attributes, so they will be able to personalize and segment their contact records. This helps them obtain more accurate data and verify contact information. This functionality is very useful in email marketing campaigns, as it ensures that the right audience is targeted.

Another capability of FullContact is it can organize contacts across the accounts and devices of users. It pulls in users’ contacts  from’ Google and iCloud Contacts, and store them securely in its database. It also collects contacts from Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and their other social media accounts. When all the contacts are all already collected, it merges the duplicate ones. Hence, contacts are synced across all of the accounts. This means if there are missing contacts in one account, FullContact fills it in.

In addition, FullContact automatically updates the contacts it stored in its database. It ensures that users will be able to obtain the most up-to-date information about their contacts when they send in queries about them.

PROS: It makes it easier to manage and monitor a hundred or even thousands of contact information. I have more than a thousand contacts and remembering their purpose is really a big job. I love that FullContact lets me add reminders or notes. It's very helpful in remembering the conversation we had with a certain contact. Apart from the ability to efficiently manage my contacts, it's also easy to upload a business card. And since the app works on mobile phones, it's very convenient. I can use it whenever and wherever I go.

CONS: Contacts are often duplicated. I think it happens whenever I use the mobile version to update contact information and the changes made are not immediately registered.

PROS: With the specific information it provides, I can make a personalized approach to each contact.

CONS: It’s inevitable I guess that the price is getting higher as the features are improving, I miss the old price though.

PROS: The ability to get the social media links including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, etc. of your contacts and reach out to them via the said social media platforms. This also gives us the opportunity to get a deeper insight helpful in handling clients efficiently.

CONS: I think the price is a bit high for the range of features the product provides. They can either make the price less expensive or add more features, or bring more value to the customers.

PROS: We never had problems integrating FullContact with our Freshsales CRM. Also, the program is really effective and help us build a sales development process that works. This is a partner for sale's team success.

CONS: There are limitations when using our paid account via the platform's dashboard. But we solve it by using the API instead. No complaints about the API integrations though.

PROS: This API is very easy, simple to use and helpful in acquiring more information about our contacts. Usually, we only receive leads with their phone number or email address. FullContact, however, help us get a deeper insight into the prospect using only the said data even before setting up a client meeting

CONS: I find their pricing plan not flexible enough. It would be nice if they offer an option to pay only for the service we use because not all the time we receive thousands of requests and not at all times our agents are active.

PROS: We integrate FullContact into our HM and it significantly improved our knowledge about our existing and prospect customers. It provides a number of customer profile information enough to give us sufficient understanding of our customers and give them the kind of service they'd be satisfied and happy about.

CONS: Some users sign up for SaaS solutions not using the email they use on their social media accounts so we had restrictions to the amount of information and insight we can get. This, however, is a problem not directly related to the system. FullContact, just like any other solution, does not have control over what email their users will be using.

PROS: It got cool CRM. Also, I love the ability to access and use the application on my mobile phone.

PROS: It’s a combination of affordable ($10) and awesome. I love how all the data that I have such as contacts, labels and even new information get to merge and sync automatically. The information on social media like Twitter and LinkedIn can also be added.

CONS: Not that I dislike, I just need for date information added on the feature since it will really be helpful for follow up on the contacts.

PROS: Our team has switched to FullContact because the other similar products we tried fall short of expectations. They either provide less value than the money we paid them or does not provide enough critical data our company needs. Switching to this platform was a great decision. Our team is now more productive and able to respond to clients quickly. Also, the system itself is very easy to use and has a really awesome and friendly customer support staff.

CONS: The number of fields documentation on the dashboard is limited. It would be nice if they would add more of it. Also, there's no statistic of users who are found and not found.
