What are the best aspects of this product?
I'm assisting in the management of my company's catering side. That would mean having the responsibility to cater to several restaurants in Austin (Texas). My mind would constantly be racing from doing that. Fortunately, Gather functions as a translation that would slow things down for me. It ensures that I don't forget anything that's going on.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Its financial sections can be a confusing at times. But I'm starting to get the hang of it. There's nothing much that I hate. Maybe it needs to have more color codes to represent one event to the next.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Communication within the team is critical. Before Gather, we had to use Excel and e-mail. The whole thing was nothing but a nightmare. You'll have a hard time interacting with management via Excel unless you're regularly saving and re-uploading docs to e-mailing. Now it's a distant memory.
