Excellent application for boosting motivation and transparency

What are the best aspects of this product?

There are many things to admire about Geckoboard. We use the custom Salesforce widget a lot to write custom queries and pull specific data sets. The interface is intuitive and easy to use. The vendor constantly improves the product by adding new features and integrations. Finally, the app integrates smoothly with popular business systems.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I would like to see the following improvements: There could be a simpler way to customize the dashboard without needing to upload a CSS file. We should be able to indicate data type such as percentage, currency, etc. when creating a widget. I would also like to see the addition of a drag and drop theme editor.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Our management team lays emphasis on transparency, so they value the real-time visibility into important metrics offered by Geckoboard. All our employees can view our current status in pursuit of sales and marketing goals, bonuses, etc. We use the app to focus on important tasks and metrics, and everyone is glued to the Geckoboard dashboard when we get close to achieving business goals.
