What are the best aspects of this product?
It's challenging to pin down that thing I love with GetResponse. But I'd have to say that their comprehensive analytics and tracking are the best of the best. It lets us keep track of campaign performance. It also allows us to gain intelliegence intended for future campaigns. Aside from that, it has an e-mail builderm deliverability functionality, and contact management.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
One aspect that I don't like with GetResponse is how they don't have precise functionality and guidelines that informs you when there are problems in your list and how quickly get back on the right track. GetResponse will shut you down without reason or warning ahead of time if you appear to be getting their deliverability at risk. This is simply intolerable for service. Now I get scared whenever you send out an e-mail since you might worry of some person who will mark you as spam. GetResponse could suspend your account for good.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We're using GetResponse for communication. We also use it as a preferred vendor for our selected clients whenever we're tasked to deal with e-mail communications. Issues we're trying to solve is finding a way to make the most of marketing and potential PR of in-house customer data. We're starting to understand how e-mail has way more value as a medium for marketing than what we thought initially. We've used such experience in assisting our clients organize and optimize communications and e-mail marketing.
