What are the best aspects of this product?
GetResponse has plenty of handy functionality. The best of the bunch is the landing pages. You're able to crate world-class landing pages with great appearance in a short period of time. And doing that with minimal effort. It comes bundled with a drag-and-drop builder if you happen to not be technical.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
By default, the double-optin can be enabled. This blows since the settings are difficult to spot. Analytics for e-mail campaigns are not that bad. But it could be a lot better. The dashboard can't be fully customized as you'll end up losing track of KPIs quickly.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Within the marketing department, our largest issue isn't gathering leads. It's about moving them via the funnel and being able to convert them. GetResponse helped us with both lead generation and lead nurturing. Now we're getting a lot of leads that the sales department had a hard time nurturing them for conversion. GetResponse will come in to keep keep the leads hot and fresh for our sales team.
