What are the best aspects of this product?

The documentation on how to use is understandable, well written and it is for every skill level. It even includes feature for onsite search. You have an ability for version control, to keep track of all the changes, to revert previous commit and many other things.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Its desktop is not very intuitive for newbies, when teaching new users I have to go back for using terminal or some other interface. It would be great if they could make GH interface for beginners.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

GitHub helps us to store code that is available for all team members. This is great tool if you have lot of members who work on large projects. We are also using it to store plugins and to push plugin update.
