What are the best aspects of this product?

What I like most about GitHib is the free service for open source projects. There are lot of open source projects that are hosted there. It offers great set of features and social networking layer that simplifies the reviews, comments and documentations. The other good thing about this tool is the fact that it renders markdown. There are great features that I simply love using them like punching card and profiles for networking.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I cannot easily find drawbacks in GH. Also, they could improve gist and make it easy for integrating with my profile. What I don’t like most about the GH is the fact that it doesn’t offer one free private repository.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I’m using GitHub for my open source project that is built on Apache Spark and we use it as our current strategic consultancy projects. It depends everything form Spark Features and datasources for the platform and we found GH as useful tool for hosting service.
