Powerful and versatile application

What are the best aspects of this product?

I like that GoodData can be used easily to build logical data models and graphs atop our database. This app is more intuitive compared to LabView which I was using before. Since I am not well versed in Java, I appreciate that GoodData converts my instructions into a script. The system simplifies our processes and has boosted my productivity.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I’m still getting the hang of using the program and haven’t tried out all the features yet. But, I expect few problems as the software is of good quality. Most of my issues stem from not knowing how to use particular features.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We use GoodData to set up reports and dashboards for other teams in our organization. Instead of using SQL queries, we have automated the above mentioned tasks on GoodData and give access to the concerned team. This strategy has improved the turnaround time for data requests.
