Google Analytics helps me to keep track of my readers

What are the best aspects of this product?

GoogleAnalytics provides great amount of information that is really useful. The information you get from this software is so detailed so you going to need an expert to help you understand the whole data. I’m not an expert, but I can still understand the huge amount of information and this helps me to improve my contents so they can suit my readers’ needs.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Now I understand why people pay someone to keep up with the analytics account, the data I receive is overwhelming. Also, I deal with some spams and it’s nightmare for those with huge amount of traffic on their sites. I believe that there are ways to filter the information but sometimes it’s in hindsight.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Google analytics helps me to build a site to meet my visitors’ needs, I am able to track my visitors/readers, to know what software they use, the country where they are coming from, what else they do on the internet and etc. What I figured out from the whole information I get, is that the readers are not interested in my resume or portfolio, they are on my site for the tools and articles I provide.
