By default, it has Android. You can fully use it for text messaging or online chat. It can utilized as a VoIP. Calling via Google Voice numner by means of a Hangouts Dialer app.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Residents from the U.S. can't use it in the form of a VoIP. Calendar integration with Google Calendar is absent. It can't be that obvious. Throug iOS, a mail app integration is available.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Google Hangout seems to have yet gained the ability to be the main message app for today's Android devices. Companies tend to bundle their own version of messaging app. Google even got its very own Messenger for text messaging. I feel this isn't the proper direction that the app is taking.
