What are the best aspects of this product?
Garsshopper helps us assign calls to a praticular users or more of them, regardless of whether we're in the same room or miles away from each other. It is an easygoing program that 'cleaned' the mess off my desk, becuase I have international employees even if I'm running a relatively small buisness (selling sunglasses stripes). Being this small, we could not afford the luxury to hire a special call agent toredirect calls, while the price of Grasshopper is just perfect. It simply did more than we expected it to, because we're not just redirecting the calls, but scratching a bit into the reasons why the calls happened at the first place. Therefore, we can program and categorize calls in any way we want.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
The price is good, but it can be misleading if you don't pay enough attention. They will ask for additional fees, and in case you try to cover them, you'll end up paying almost 50% of their advertised price. Somehow, I think it is even fair for the service you get, but you should be aware of it from the very beginning.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Our biggest problem was that we couldn't work properly with agents operationg abroad, and Grasshopper solved it. It took an incredible amount of stress off our sholders, as we don't have to use personal cell phones any more-there is a professional business line for everything! Not having to pay for call agents and secretaries saved us a lot of money too.
