What are the best aspects of this product?

I like the p4merge visual layout and its revision graph view. The latter is excellent and offers a nice overview. Additionally, there's no shadow folder which is what I'm looking for in this kind of tool.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It's quite difficult to download something from the perforce such as the oneliner. But I think if there's a p4 commandline installed as well as credentials, it would be possible to download something directly from it. It is also somehow challenging to introduce the system to new users because of how its workspace view is set up.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We needed a system that can support large files and Helix Core offers this capability. That's why we chose it over other solutions like GIT.
