What are the best aspects of this product?

The system is fast and we know precisely which repository to begin looking at. Because there's only one, our team has replicated it to several sites giving quick access to users from different parts of the globe without consuming much bandwidth. The system's auditing capabilities are also useful and reliable. It lets us see how consumers are using a product and also helps us discover trends in the market. Lastly, Perforce has an amazing support team. They've been so patient and willing to guide and teach us how to do things, understand how to create a more efficient pipeline, and many other things.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Whenever there's a need for a system upgrade, we had to do it manually. Although it requires some work, on the brighter side of things, upgrading manually allows us to know exactly the versions we are running. And it gives us a sense of security.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We are able to put everything in one place. And unlike using git where we have to sew git repositories together, this version control system by Perforce simply let us branch and merge branches which is a lot easier.
