Heroku Review

PROS: We don't have to go through a lot of complicated steps to create a single app. The application and deployment process has always been easy and straightforward. There is no need for high tech skills to get things going.

CONS: I went through the pricing of the product several times already. It's more than what most people can afford. It would be good news if they can come up with something more affordable.

PROS: It helps me spread head new company projects with the help of this tool. There are no regrets at all.

CONS: There are apps that I could not integrate with Heroku, which causes some setbacks. I wish that they can find a long term solution to this issue.

PROS: It's now more convenient for my team to come up with ideas on how to create applications from scratch. At the same time, Heroku takes good care of the implementation.

CONS: Been using the free tier to save thousands of dollars, but it also comes with a list of disadvantages. The apps tend to become idle after some time. Once you start logging in again, it takes some time to keep it up and running. I'd give it a low score in terms of speed efficiency. But since it doesn't cost me any amount of money, I guess that I shouldn't complain much about the product.

PROS: I can say that Heroku is the right choice for companies that are just starting to build their business and reputation to the community. It's an app builder that helps you create a multitude of applications that you can use to simplify your work processes and produce better and more accurate results. Since the tool is cloud-based you also don't have to worry about compromising your security and overall performance.

CONS: Before deciding to acquire Heroku, I suggest that you should do a little research and also take some time to analyze your long term budget. I don't have much to complain about in terms of usage, performance and adaptability. However, my main concern is the pricing which I find more expensive as compared to other products with the same functionality. Its good to use Heroku for small to mid-sized apps but for larger ones it means that I would have to pay extra, which seems to be not practical at all.

PROS: I am not a techie, but I was able to work with Heroku without experiencing any significant issues. Making applications is one way to make lives easier, plus I was able to maximize the marketplace, which is beneficial for all users.

CONS: We've encountered a few issues of integration which posed a few challenges into some of our existing applications. This issue has been raised to the support team and hoping to get some answers soon.

PROS: Deployment in the process is so smooth and fast for all apps. Coding is never an issue because the tutorials are relatively easy to understand. People from my team are eager to learn more.

CONS: I would not recommend for you to use free domains because it slows down the app leaving you feeling frustrated. If you want to experience better features, you need to pay extra each month which is not so affordable.

PROS: Creating an ideal application is not as easy as expected. I wanted to create one and upload it via Cloud for more stability and flexibility towards end-users. I have been using Heroku to test multiple apps for any errors before finally deploying it in public. I can easily upgrade or downgrade specs when needed making it more ideal to utilize in our current work environment.

CONS: I have to admit that even though I have more than enough experience in web dev, I still had my fair share of struggles with Heroku. I tried to learn how the product as fast as I could by relying on online videos, but there are many things that I still don’t understand. There are coding procedures that weren’t familiar to me, so I had to spend more time doing research as well as trial and error hands-on work. Unfortunately, I am having a hard time looking for learning materials that could ease up the entire learning process.

PROS: I never imagined that I would end up using Heroku and subscribe to its premium package for a long term contract. After the free trial phase, I was able to realize a lot of things that this tool can offer to the company and how employees and clients can benefit with that the applications that we have created. I don’t consider my self as an expert in app development, but Heroku made things a lot easier for my colleagues and me. I thought that the process of creating, upgrading and even cloning several work-related apps would be complicated and cause me headaches, but I was wrong. Using Heroku has allowed me to utilize all of my internal programming resources into creating one of a kind applications to help improve the way we do our business. We are proud to say that we have developed and successfully deployed several apps for sales, marketing, logistics, customer services, collections, and so much more for the last three years. I am also happy that we were able to integrate ninety per cent of our existing tools with Heroku that is why the transition and adjustment process has never been that difficult for our people and our clients as well. One of the things that I learned from Heroku is you can use it to make some extra income by creating and developing apps for other clients at a lower cost. We all know that most startups could not afford to invest in web development and hosting because the rates are too steep. We decided to become a third-party developer as a way of paying it forward to our business community. We charge business owners a reasonable amount to create, maintain and support whatever apps they use on a day to day basis. Based on experience, I would like to commend Heroku for continuously working hard to provide clients like our company the best service possible. I would also like to commend the support team who is always by our side 24/7 to help us fix issues that we could not troubleshoot on our end.

CONS: I find Heroku too expensive to maintain each month. That is why I try to find ways on how to save money by creating simple apps for our business and offering our services to other companies as well. I was hoping that the developers of Heroku could come up with a way to decrease their rates without compromising any of its existing features. It's an excellent investment to have, but it's not practical, especially for large scale apps that would cost us thousands of dollars out of our pockets. Right now we would instead settle for a simpler looking application as long as it serves its purpose then we are fine with it.

PROS: I could not argue with the process and documentation cause its definitely one of the best in the market. Been using Heroku for years and I genuinely prefer this than any other products out there.

CONS: Currently, they offer limited dyno hours which makes me sad. I got no choice but to upgrade.

PROS: We did subscribe to several apps similar to Heroku's function, but all of them didn't perform well as expected. One thing that I like most about this app is its ability to work with almost any type of programs and deliver excellent results. It's very scalable and adaptable that all our employees were able to adapt to the new application quickly.

CONS: I keep on seeing pop-ups that offer us additional products and features that we don't need at the moment. I understand that they're out to make more money, but the pop-ups are quite distracting.

PROS: Heroku has helped bridge the gap between management and rank and file employees. Now we can raise issues that concern performance and productivity. The dashboards help provide information to the people regarding how they're doing in their work so far through feedback and coaching.

CONS: So far, so good. Things are smooth sailing, so no complaints or whatsoever.

PROS: Creating an app is so simple, and things can be done in less than one day. Also if you need help, then support is highly reliable as well.

CONS: There are more things I like than I don't like about Heroku. For me, I think that it's very user friendly and great for beginners. But features can be upgraded for better functionality and results.

PROS: The competition among cloud-based applications is so steep as of the moment that is why you must choose your product wisely before committing to making a long term purchase. Heroku has proven its capability and performance in building code free apps and web hosting, which plays a huge role in the success of your business. Instead of hiring web experts, you can save money by developing an app by yourself. It comes with a long list of features and functionality that can generate the best results. I suggest that you should try it for free before you get the paid version.

CONS: We are thankful for Heroku because it helps us deal with storage issues as if it isn't a big deal at all. It's efficient to use, but the pricing has always been a primary issue on our end. We were able to take advantage of some of the add ons, but we have to be careful with what we add on our purchase or else we'd end up paying more than the usual.

PROS: The most significant advantage of choosing to work with Heroku is that we never had any technical issues during the entire deployment process. The good thing with this product is that it gives you the freedom to create and design your could based app the way you want it to look like and function. There might be a little challenge in terms of the familiarity of features and building process, but once you get over things, everything will be all good.

CONS: Heroku is known for the complexity of its overall structure. If you are a first-timer with cloud-based apps, you need to put in more effort to learn how to handle Heroku’s infrastructure.
