What are the best aspects of this product?
The last few years using Hootsuite have been just precious for me and my clients-I manage so many accounts and I schedule so many posts per day, and I could never imagine something like that was even possible! See, managing a client's online presence is not just about posting and updating-it is about maintaining his reputation and letting him focus on more important stuff, which implies that it is your responsibility to work with reliable software.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
The platform will allow you to do everything you want, and to import as many clients and media channels as you want, but be aware that this will take its toll on navigation. You won't get exactly the cleanest interface ever, and you'll find yourself regretting not having better organizational skills when moving back and forth through the pages.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Unlike similar companies whose most challenging activity is managing multiple clients, our ultimate goal was to simplify managing multiple social media accounts per client. We took the old good login/logout road, and as you imagine, it took one day to deal with one client. Hootsuite doesn't require such committment, and we were ready to pay a fortune to get it. Luckily for us, it was not expensive at all. After all, is there a price that can compensate for stress? I think not!
