What are the best aspects of this product?

It allows me to be well organized when it comes to my campaign on social media. I am able to keep track of all the activities on the content or social media accounts. For example it is possible to monitor the number of replies, mentions and hashtags on a social media account. All this information or tracking can be viewed on a single screen which makes my work easier. The good thing with this tool is that, it does not matter whether you are in different time zones, the scheduling process will still work in such a situation. This came at a time when I was in dire need of that and thus reliable reporting.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It has problems, but I would not mainly put this blame on Hootsuite as it is only in a single platform. Scheduling does not work when it comes to Instagram. This functionality is not automated which means that you have to do it yourself. You will have to access your Instagram account and post the content there. It would be better if Hootsuite could find a way to make the scheduling functionality work with Instagram. Also, it is not possible to upload a video running more than 1 minute on Instagram. This is frustrating as I have to edit it to that length and then upload it. Also, you cannot do this on our computer; you have to use your mobile phone to do this.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It manages on the social media account. Whatever you do, you have to stick to the schedule. This means that, you cannot post something at a time when another content or item is set to go live. This helps to reduce overlapping of posts. We are able to work as a team and eliminate inconveniences when it comes to posting content. With such a tool, our lives and those of our followers are made simple. The scheduling feature works fine to give us more time to plan for future posts as we are able to schedule for the coming weeks’ posts to go live.
