What are the best aspects of this product?
We're able to decode analytical data with Hotjar. When we're clueless with drops or peaks, we deploy Hotjar user recordings, view polls, and end up finding behaviour patterns or bottlenecks that triggered such loss of data. Life would be impossible without user recordings that have been filtered with UTM parameters. Hotjar is such an invaluable asset for me.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It's imposssible to tell. This software has a plethora of features that I find useful. For example, they have this polling/case study tool that I find interesting (which I've yet to use). Linking user recordings to bring intercom.io data through would've been awesome if Hotjar allowed it.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Looking into users, making conversion rate optimizations, and feasability testing to gain insight on what users can comprehend and want. Our very own app is complex and we're unsure on how we can name or value its proposition. Hotjar did a tremendous job in helping us on what users can make of it.
