What are the best aspects of this product?
HP Service Anywhere makes things simple and easy, as it converts SAW views and native operational dashboards into an entertaining experience, at least that's what our users share. They like both how it looks and how it feels, and they're huge fans of the new and pertinent graphical views on their dashboards. The governance is also a strong side, due the fact that customization doesn't stop you from going creative, but encourages you instead to go deeper in the program and to understand its capacity. Storage and searching is easy too, and there is an in-built messaging feature.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Even the tool of the future has cons, that's undeniable. If you ask me, it is not exactly easy for referential administration (roles, accounts, groups), and there are still few SLM notifications that can't be customized. We also have our corporate IM system we'd like to see integrated in future.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Foremost, visible IT operations, we couldn't really respond to customer incidents properly without it. From where we stand now, we can offer users a comprehensive catalog of services, and to interact with them the same way our teams are interacting with each other. Needless to say, we've accelerated IT processes, and we simply understand every change in our worklfow.
