What are the best aspects of this product?

When I compare with other tools I have used such as MailChimp and Pardot, IBM Marketing Cloud has proven to be the better option. With its automation ability, I am able to run my marketing campaign with ease. Whether you are looking to manage a simple or complex marketing campaign, BM Marketing Cloud helps you reach your target. It has an open API which means you can interact with other users of the tool. In the process, you can share ideas, point out bugs and find solutions while you discover better and more advance functionalities the tool has to offer from other users.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Although it integrates with other tools, it is limited. Some functionalities are not found in BM Marketing Cloud, which means you have to seek from third party software to fill that gap. Since it does not integrate with some of those tools it can be a huge challenge. Also, it does not have a friendly user interface for first time users of the product. The tool is complex which means you will need training to get started. The set-up of the tool for admin purposes is also confusing which adds to the frustrations for a beginner. In spite of this, the product offers a more modern interface and functionality as compared to Engage B2B.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We have come from quantity to value and quality. Instead of sending messages to our client list just for the sake of marketing, we can now choose what to send and to whom. The IBM marketing tool offers reliable and automation in our marketing efforts. We can analyze the behavior of our customers in terms of their preferences, collect that data and later send automated messages to them for the purpose of result-oriented marketing. In short, we are able to launch our marketing campaign and meet the target with ease as we know who and when to send personalized messages based on their behavior and preferences.
