PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

It integrates well with Silverpop which allows me to conduct my marketing campaigns with ease. Such integration is not there with other like marketing tools. Due to this, it has bought better solutions, which are not only easy but result-oriented. The IBM Silverpop platform provides a flexible user experience for anyone looking to boost their marketing efforts. Also, it allow for automation, which is a plus on my part. I can set up more than 150 emails without much hustle. In short, I am getting much more than I used to, with this kind of integration.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

In spite of all of the things I like about the tool, it has its shortcomings. The platform due to integration with Silverpop is complex. When customers click or open an email, it is not possible to create segments for all the clicks made. Instead, you have to create segments for every single click. This can turn out to be frustrating on my part. It would be nice I there was a universal way to create those segments for all emails opened or clicks made to the emails.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It is a highly customizable tool as it has an open API. This way, we can add third party applications to complement the already available features of the IBM marketing cloud. Also, it has allowed us to send emails to customers in bulk with ease. Our major problem was the effective management of emails and contacts from our customers. Luckily, with this tool, we can achieve that without much hustle. The IBM Silverpop platform has become a great addition to our marketing campaigns and where it is unable to execute some of the functionalities, we can always add a plugin from a third party provider.
