PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

It eliminates all the guess work in our marketing campaigns. You can automate campaigns and target where to send the emails to. This tools empowers you to target specific contact list based on their behavior and preference in general. You do not have to wonder which message or email is for you as the tool does that for you. You can schedule when and to who the email should be sent out to at a later time, automatically. Also, it is possible to test numerous templates to see which one is the most ideal for what audience or customers.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Since we have not bought the plugins, we are finding it difficult to work with the interface. It does not look like a marketing tool but an email tool which is a bit confusing at first. Although this is not a big problem, we are finding it hard to access our data directly. Now this proves to be a problem when we want to automate campaigns as we are unable to access that data when we need it. Integration with EpIServer is not as good as it should be and thus it would be nice if it was made better.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We are able to use the forms in managing our campaigns with ease. You can send to specific customers personalized emails depending on their needs and wants. Since the IBM marketing cloud analyzes data based on the preference rather than perceptions, we can now target different customers with ease. The time to send emails can be scheduled and automated such that you only need to set up what time and which customers the emails should go to. Also, you will be able to track the opened emails and the ones the recipients have clicked on.
