What are the best aspects of this product?

It has everything automated to what you want. You set up schedules on when to send emails to a segment of your customers. You can also monitor the activities in an email you have sent using hyperlinks. Once a customer clicks or opens the email, you get notification of the same. The view is split to help you analyze data with ease. It is not only has a friendly user interface but also reliable when you want to access all your data in one place. This makes it easy for you to analyze the data and thus attain your objective effortlessly. It comes with a text mailing feature that equips you with the ability to create emails and send them to your contact list. It also allows for collaboration in your team as a user can access the email another user created or sent.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Despite all the good things I have to say about the IBM marketing cloud, it has its downfalls. When you want to paste a picture in the system, it is impossible. Also, there are a few glitches when it comes to saving your mail as sometimes it fails. Once this happens, the email is lost which means you have to go back and create a new one. The hyperlinks are also difficult to remove and editing your email on the platform can be complex. It would be great if some of these minor bugs were addressed.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It has increased the number of people who attend our events. With tailored emailing we have managed to create and execute with Silverpop, we can bask in our success. Our clients can now receive informative and attractive emails based on what they are looking for. All the details that we need to communicate to our members can be merged in a single email and sent. This includes pictures, links and the details of the event. With such a capability, we can find success in the tool through our marketing efforts.
