What are the best aspects of this product?
The IBM Marketing Cloud is filled with praise-worthy features. The thing we liked about it is its Silverpop integration. We're a company that uses a lot of e-mails. We heavily depend on one-on-one communication and we use IBM Marketing Cloud to integrate everything to our tailor-made CRM. Managing contacts is easier than ever. And taking a peek at our marketing efforts is effortless.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
The only main downside that we saw was the lack of consideration when it comes to user experience. Our team mightily struggled during the process of onboarding. Backend descriptions and menus were initially difficult. There were a number of instances where we had to ask why IBM would end up configuring specific dashboards and functions in the first place.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
For more than 30 years, our company was able to market services and products via varying hubs. The digital age today led to an emphasis on offering the needs of customers rather than asking them what they want. An extensive solution was required in integrating all of our marketing efforts in a single medium. The IBM Marketing Cloud was able to help out with that. A majority of our marketing contains touch points via IBM's software. It clearly made our jobs a little simpler.
