Outstanding platform for conducting crowdsourcing challenges

What are the best aspects of this product?

We reviewed other crowdsourcing challenge solutions and even thought of developing our own, but finally settled on IdeaScale for the Fix California Challenge. We received hundreds of ideas privately and through the online solution as well as thousands of comments and votes. We encouraged all comers to contribute their ideas and were impressed by the quality and quantity of suggestions received. The IdeaScale team worked closely with us to make the project a success. They also listened to our feedback to make their product better. We highly recommend this vendor and their software.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The only minor drawbacks are limited ability to customize the pages and to encourage users to share. To be fair, the vendor is working on rectifying these limitations.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

As mentioned earlier, we used IdeaScale software to run the Fix California Challenge and the platform helped us get numerous ideas and suggestions from the public. We are thankful for the vendor’s team for helping us to make the project a success.
