PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

It used to have intuitive tabs to make it easy to learn how to navigate.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

No customization at all. Very rigid software. Customer support is not willing to take into consideration our practice needs.
Diagnosis search used to work fine then it was changed and now is not working well.
Prescription writer used to be easy and now due to the recent improvement is very time consuming. What used to take 4 clicks to prescribe a medication now requires 22 clicks. Considering that I am in Primary care and this software was marketed to me as targeting Primary care this is very surprising. I tried to reach out to the owner to show all this extra fields and extra clicks but her never descended to my level to hear the issues. In order to refill 6 prescriptions I have to engage my nurse in what I used to be able to do myself in no time.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

Insurance verification is outsourced to a vendor who doesn't do it well. I should be able to receive up to date information about patients insurance being active from all the major insurers. Current vendor provides outdated information not helpful and causing significant losses to our practice.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

My practice used this product for 7 years and it is getting worse rather then better.
I had 7 years history of medications prescriptions that is now lost. More than that medications list erroneously populate in the chart of the spouse due to computer glitch. I am hesitant to invest in another product and loose revenue due to transition. But if you are looking to switch wait at list till the fix prescription writer to avoid malpractice.
