What are the best aspects of this product?
IT Glue acts as the main database for all our admin info, and it is very suitable for technical stuff. It efficiently stores different vital resources, such as continuous integrations, domain tracker, SSL tracker, passwords, location info, contacts and documents among other items. Moreover, it is capable of tracking different apps and services, such as ADDS, WANs, remote access, security options, virtualization, voice system, wireless, sharing of files, printing, backups and licenses.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
I notice that IT Glue support team has slow production of developments or updates according to user complaints and recommendations. However, now that the brand has a new company owner, I hope that its support system would improve. And I guess that boosting their tracking system for user recommendations is a great plus.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We do not need to manually search for essential information from documents, spreadsheets and Sharepoints among other repositories anymore. It is now easier to retrieve system passwords, domains, SSLs, renewals and inventories among other details. Yes, an efficient search engine is great, but having everything we need in one storage is a huge time saver for us. And it allows us to access the platform from anywhere too.
