What are the best aspects of this product?
The interface is slick, and it integrates into Cisco unified communications quite well. Most of our users don't have problems using the interface, and they seem to like the integration to their phones. Single sign on is also very good integration that works well with our Microsoft active directory.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It seems to go through updates quickly. And if you're in a corporate environment, you can get behind on versions quickly. We also find the screen share feature quite buggy on Windows 7 but not on Windows. Licensing isn't the cheapest, especially since it ties into your Unified Communication suite.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Collaboration is definitely better between our users with Jabber. With the phone integration, our users are very happy with the product. And with the voicemail, phone, and desktop integration, our users are much more accessible throughout the day.
