What are the best aspects of this product?
Initially an isssue tracker, I love how JIRA grew to become an even greater and more useful platform. The software might be complicated to learn at first but once you get the gist of it, it is very powerful. We now use JIRA to manage our projects' lifecycles. Also, we can easily extend the features of the platform using apps from the marketplace.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Setting up individual permissions is a lot of work. It used to be easy with the bulk assignments feature but they decided to change it

JIRA makes it easy for us to stay on top of our project lifecycle and a number of the support processes, such as project planning, Scrum, Kanban, etc.
