It offers a friendly user interface for anyone to get started on this tool. It is simple which makes it reliable when you want to manage your projects in a professional manner. The user experience is top notch which adds to its efficiency for most project managers. It helps you to track bugs, issues and tasks during the development of your project. This keeps you up to date with the progress of your work and that of the team. Also, you will find it easy to configure the workflow for better performance of your team in seeing the project a success.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

When you factor in the price, it can be expensive. However this will depend on the size of the team you have for your project. If you will be hosting a team of more than 10 members, then you will find this tool to be expensive. The cost aspect comes into light due to the return on investment (ROI) you get from Jira once you manage your project. On that note, it is advisable to check the number of team members you include or let in, in your project before you choose to implement this product for your project.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It has helped us to be more organized when it comes to undertaking a project. We are able to come up with the requirements of the project and group them into a backlog for the project before we start off. Also, it helps us to group those requirements in an order that prioritizes them from the most important to the least important. Those requirements are ranked to help users or project team members assign those requirements into timeline cycles on when they should be completed. On top of that, it allows us to see how each of those cycles is progressing on the scrum board. All these things contribute to the success of the project and we are happy that Jira integrates with Confluence to make our work easier.
