What are the best aspects of this product?
JIRA has a Simple, elegant interface that has a quick learning curve. It has this powerful workflow engine that allows for heavy customization, automation, integration with .NET tooling, easy and powerful reporting tools, and that there is no charge for users.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Administration can be cumbersome because of how advanced and customizable the system is. There are also a lot of plugins are not available on the Cloud Instance. Automation triggers don't seem to always work as expected.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Thanks to JIRA, our entire process is documented and controlled within the Atlassian Suite. It is quickly replacing our 3 other ticketing systems, simplifying the process for our IT department.
