What are the best aspects of this product?
It got everything we need to manage our freelancers and projects from start to finish. The onboarding module has made it easier to onboard new freelancers. It lets us present documents that contain important information like terms and condition to the new members of the team so they can also review them. Also, we use the tool to have them sign contracts. We store all information about our freelancers in this platform including payments. It's easy, convenient, and fast. It is also helping us with out year-end tax documents. It takes care of communicating with our freelancers for the needed forms, etc. so we don't have to spend time and effort doing those things.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
The wallet is not as flexible as we need it to be. It pays freelancers at particular intervals so we cannot release payouts whenever we want to. The wallet also needs to be frequently funded which is a strain on our finance team. These problems often cause payment delays.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
It has eliminated the problems and hassles of using spreadsheets to track our freelancers contact information, save their rates, the payment schedules, and many more. Kalo has helped us become more organized and efficient. All information is now stored in a single solution and accessible to all authorized departments and members of the organization.
