What are the best aspects of this product?
Managing budgets is essential if you are to be success in your work as an account manager. Kenshoo gives you the ability to be on top of things when it comes to spending in your campaigns. You can keep clients informed of how their campaigns are doing. With the reporting feature, this is possible to great lengths. You do not have to worry about whether you have reported to the client or not as the scheduling functionality takes care of this. You will be able to automatically share reports with clients through scheduling. Also, the customer support is top notch as it is available 24/7 which is a great thing for us as we deal with clients in multiple time zones.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
I believe that Kenshoo still has room for improvement when it comes to functionalities. Although a great tool, I would love to see more of additional features to make it a complete campaign management tool. For the case of updates they inform users of, they take too long to come through. For example, you might get a news update of an upcoming update for the product. However, it takes years for that update to come through which can be frustrating. It is okay to wait for a few months, but when it gets to years of waiting from the time you receive the news update, it is not realistic.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Before we implemented Kenshoo into our system, it was all chaos from managing the budget and spending to generating reports for our clients. Nothing seemed to go right with these basic aspects in campaign management. When managing accounts for clients, you have to look in all aspects and one of the problems we had is to prevent clients from going above the budget in their pending or spending too little. Luckily, with Kenshoo, this is a thing of the past as we are able to know the percentage of spending vs. the budget on monthly basis. Also, for creating and sending of those reports to clients, it used to take a lot of time to do that. We can now pull those reports easily whenever we want and schedule to share them with clients. All that has been automated which adds to the efficiency in which we execute our roles.
