What are the best aspects of this product?
The following are plus points: Open API that allows us to develop our own code to integrate with the cloud-based app, it offers all that we need, consistent development of product, affordable subscription and credit card processing charge through Stripe, Integration with Quickbooks and Google Maps, friendly and helpful support agents, and finally, well-designed cloud-based service management program.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
The following are minus points: Rigid automatic event triggers – you can use the API to add these features, no inventory/location management, no offline mode, slow internet connection can affect the cloud-based system. I use VB and MS Access to automate many things. I suffered a major problem when a Quickbooks file got corrupted, so take care to take a backp of your Quickbooks files after each sync. I recommend you to use Quickbooks Online.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Our company needed to update its workflow and connect to tablets, and we also found out old DB inadequate for our growth. I checked out five software solutions and Kickserv was the best among the lot. The system has developed well through two major updates and it exceeds my expectations. It helps us to reduce costs, enhance our customer support, and expand our business. In my opinion, Kickserv is an ideal app for customer service and construction companies like ours.
